Time Travel, LLC offers a first in the industry service when it comes to photo scanning: we can travel to your home and scan your photos in the comfort of your own home. Why? Photos are uniquely valuable – they offer glimpses of your past memories and are moments frozen in time from the past!
The risk of losing pictures in the mail is too high. So we have simplifed the process so that your photos never leave your home!
We have high speed scanners that can scan photos up to 1200 dpi- which is more than enough to preserve those photos for future generations! We can resize and clean up images for you as well. Want that crease removed from an old photo? No problem!
Don’t want Time Travel, LLC to come to your home and scan? No problem! We can securely digitize your precious photos in our office and return them to you same day!
HOW WE DO IT
First, we do a 15 minute consultation phone call to discuss your photo scanning goals.
Second, a member of our team travels to your home and uses our state-of-the art briefcase sized image scanner to perform the digitizing process.
Third, when finished digitizing, we leave your original photos with you and then take the digital data back to our office for post-processings. Creating files that you can send to all of your friends and relatives.
Fourth, we can send or drop off a hard drive, USB stick or data disc of your digital files.

Time Travel, LLC. has developed a unique digital workflow that provides you with the highest quality capture available. We use professional broadcast equipment combined with our expertise in using these old formats. We offer you best-in-industry capturing of your videos.
HOW WE DO IT
First, we check your tapes for damage. Often these old formats have issues with mold, dirt or residue. We can even transplant your tape into a new cassette if needed!
Second, we load your videotape into one of our professional tape players, being careful to insure that your tapes are not at risk of being recorded over or damaged.
Third, we take the time to play out your tape in real-time, from the very beginning to the very end, being sure not to miss anything you might have recorded on it, anywhere! This process can take hours and hours, but we pride ourselves in being thorough.
Fourth, when we finish digitizing, we process your legacy video signal to de-interlace it so that it will look beautiful on modern progressive screen displays! (X264 @ 60P, or other format if you desire.) Or, we can keep it in the original interlaced format if you still have a tube television!
Fifth, we catalog and create files that you can easily distribute to your friends and family that play on any device. We can give these to you on an external hard drive, flash drive, SD card, or digital download, whichever you prefer!

Raw DV tape transfer. Native format is interlaced NTSC video @ 3o frames per second in 4:3 aspect ratio. Note the jagged edges of lines when paused. This is what interlaced video looks like on your modern screen!
Time Travel processed DV tape transfer. Deinterlaced, upscaled footage to HD 1080P @ 59.94 frames per second and blown up to 16:9 aspect ratio. The edges of objects are smooth and clearly defined.
